Lifestyle & Branding
for Individuals and Business
Headshots & Lifestyle
I've worked with various individuals & professionals in a variety of backgrounds. Ranging from Musicians & DJ's to Realtors, Yoga & Fitness Instructors and more, I've worked to help boost their online & print presence with new images. Whether for social media or website use, comp cards or print collateral, I always enjoy the process from initial contact to discuss concepts, storyboards and vision to the delivery of the final images, to seeing them in use.
It's more than just a headshot...it's who you are.
It's more than just a headshot...it's who you are.
Models & Fashion
Working with designers & models has always been a passion for me... The high energy & fevered pace of the runway to working on fashion, editorial & lookbook shoots is definitely one of my loves. Living in Boston when I started doing photography "full time," I somehow talked my way into shooting several shows during Boston Fashion Week. This turned into more shoots with designers and models, and working on editorial pieces, test shoots, etc. Like headshots and lifestyle images, your modeling photos can help create a persona and image that will help make you stand out. I'm always open to concepts and ideas, to help you build your portfolio as well as continue to keep my creativity flowing.
Event Coverage
Since 2009, I have had the pleasure of covering various types of events and parties. Clients have included: The Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF), LauderdaleAhead Magazine, Dunns Run, NamaStacy Yoga Corporation, Various Designers for Boston Fashion Week, Vision of Change, Matsu Boston, RE/MAX Preferred, Suntrust Financial Svcs, Wonder Bar -Boston, Duplessy Foundation, EarthHour.org, The Greatest Bar - Boston, and private engagement, wedding reception, birthday parties & events. Documenting these events and milestones are always fun for me as I get to engage with a variety of people and backgrounds and (hopefully) make them smile!

Svedka Vodka was requesting lifestyle images of a target demographic (millennials between the ages of 21 and 33) to be used mainly on their Instagram during the fall & winter season. Specifically, they wanted photos that focused on Holiday & New Years Eve, and general Fall & Winter, with product placement. Flashstock, a provider of on-demand imaging for the world’s leading brands, contracted me to create images for this campaign. I hand picked models from Model Mayhem for the target demographic and created a storyboard. Being July, "holiday" and "NYE" feel was going to be a challenge, especially in South Florida. I secured a local bar that I felt fit the aesthetic for the NYE shots and secured a Christmas store for the holiday shots, as well as my backyard. NYE photos shot at Infinity Bar, Wilton Manors, FL. Holiday photos shot at The Christmas Palace, Ft Lauderdale, FL.

Elisa Seda (aka: "E") is a passionate drummer originally from New Jersey. I met her through mutual musician friends and she wanted new photos for her website and social media, as her style/look is ever-evolving and had changed considerably since her last shoot. We chatted through email about concepts and locations and decided on an urban landscape. Working with a colleague for hair, makeup and styling, we hauled her drums out on location to capture a variety of images with three "looks". Elisa's personality and creativity are electric and really are conveyed in her images. And there's nothing like hearing the solid beat of the drums echoing off of the buildings in the middle of the day! Photos shot on location in the Fat Village Arts District, Ft Lauderdale, FL.

Ft Lauderdale, FL-based indie pop band Wilton Drive had been evolving for a few years, and after shooting live images at various local shows, they approached me to take their band photos. Paul Bellantoni-Vocals and Piano, Charlene Chuckeree (aka: A Girl Named Chuck)-Vocals, Guitar & Ukulele, Es Oh-Vocals and Violin and Elisa Seda-Drums didn't have any cohesive shots for social media and flyers, so we set out to create a series that gave them the images they needed.
Paul Bellantoni had also done a WPBT2 South Florida PBS interview talking about the release of his solo E.P. called Hallowed Ground on a show called The Gig, where he had me shoot the production stills. The Show exhibits ranged from yacht builders & designers, to exotic cars and brokerage yachts, to various businesses and products catering to the yachting and boating industry worldwide. They wanted photo journalistic coverage of the event for the magazines' issue focusing on FLIBS . With four different locations with specific timed events to shoot in East Ft Lauderdale over the course of the show, I planned the logistics and timing that would give me the best opportunities to get the images & coverage needed. November is usually a "cooler" month in South Florida, but not this particular year. Armed with water, extra batteries, and an all-access pass, I had the opportunity to board some amazing yachts, chat with industry professionals from all over the world, and work on my tan while delivering beautiful images to my client!

South Florida-based Indie/Electro/Rock band The Von, hail from three distinct continents. I had already worked with their drummer Elisa on her personal shoot, and she contacted me to work with the band to create new images, as she was replacing their previous drummer. The album digs deeper into musical influences and infusing of their diverse cultures, yoga ideology, and overarching themes of living life fearlessly, so we had a phone meeting to discuss concepts for what they were trying to accomplish and to talk about locations that would fit the aesthetic of their sound, etc. We decided on Morikami Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, as the location offered a bit of everything for them. This band was fun to work with - make sure you catch them at SXSW!

I met Todd at an informal cocktail party (in a friends fabulous downtown Ft Lauderdale loft!), and I learned that he was an interior design professional with over 25 years of experience. A few months later, he hired me as he was selling his East Ft Lauderdale home, and needed interior photos for the sale as well as for his design portfolio & website. The home was typical South FL, complete with beautiful re-finished terrazzo floors, jalousie windows and beautiful natural light. Todd's artistic eye and creativeness had transformed the space with a mix of antiques, collectibles & artwork from his collection, so photographing was interesting and unique.
He has since moved back to the Washington DC area where he owns the Interior Transitions Group, a full-service residential interiors firm. Photos shot at private residence in East Ft Lauderdale, FL.

Matsu Boutique & Nymph Jewelry
I was living in Boston and was shooting at a designers show for Boston Fashion Week, when I was introduced to Dava by a mutual friend. A boutique owner on the famous Newbury St for over 20 years, she was a bit of an icon in the area. She needed style shots as well as she had recently launched a jewelry line called "Nymph" and needed photos done for her blog, PR & website/social media. One shoot turned into several over the course of the years as she constantly created, even when I had moved back to Florida. She wanted something different and unique, much to the style of her jewelry & boutique, and gave me free reign to shoot how I creatively envisioned it. I decided to shoot tight and angled, and utilized the pieces of rock, branches, fine papers, and anything else of interest I could find in her shop, including her original wood floors-and I shot everything in natural light. She loved the results and til this day, she still shoots in this "style".
I also had an opportunity to shoot with models for an editorial piece featuring clothing sold in her boutique. All photos shot in Boston on Newbury St.

In August of 2011, I was hired to shoot movie stills on set in Miami for the filming of the opening scenes for the feature film "International Lovers". This also included behind the scenes images, as well as photo coverage of a Q&A with the Director Michael Jones and his International Cast. The movie plot focuses on two sisters who are left with a Miami hotel that is $10 million in debt. In an attempt to save it, they start a company and call it International Lovers. The sisters devise a plan to get wealthy women to pay off their debt by training 30 of the hottest men to seduce women out of large sums of money.
It was a hot day on the tarmac as Rum Bum Film & HD Studios (Owned & Operated by Luis Bacardi - yes, That Bacardi!) filmed over 100 of the male actors/models as well as the two female leads in various scenes. The images were used for continuity purposes during the filming as well as for press, advertising & marketing-digital and print, as well as social media/website usage. What do you do when your phone rings and it's an Internationally known actress & model? You think you're being punked. Fortunately for me, I wasn't. Vacationing with her family in Ft Lauderdale, Danielle wanted some fresh images for her portfolio and for editorial and flyer needs. She made her name in 2010 with the Nike World Cup Advertisement which hit 24 million people in one day. She has been featured on ESPN's Off Road Racing, major brands such as Nike, Nintendo and Sprint, and has also been in the movies Transformers: Dark of the Moon & X-Men. Swimwear companies and Playboy have had a long history with her - countless layouts and cover of magazines, as well as being named the Miller Ice House Beer Campaign model worldwide. She's super down-to-earth and a natural behind the camera - probably why she's been a success! Fave moment? Getting a call from her as she was looking up at the side of the MGM Las Vegas staring at one of "our" photos! Photos shot on Ft Lauderdale beach & private residence in Lake Worth, FL.

In April 2011, I was contracted by extremist haute couture and visionary Int'l fashion designer Baron Siamanto Levon, to shoot his fashion project that he was producing called "The Last Supper". We met to do a test shoot in his home/studio (which is a mix of Beetlejuice meets The Nightmare Before Christmas meets a NYC artist loft), where the overall shoot would take place in early May. His fashion consists of conceptual elements and radical flourishings from violent glamour to edgy street, and this particular shoot was nothing less than imaginative. He is in addition to a fashion designer, an incredible fine art painter, and part of his designs are his paintings on canvas, literally ripped off of of the frames and wrapped around the model. This shoot consisted of approximately 15 models and was complete with makeup & hair and "designing" most of the outfits as he went. We utilized multiple lights, strobes, modifiers & diffusors, and and he even had full video production coverage of the shoot. All photos shot on location at the designer's home/studio in Pompano Beach, FL.
